 LOCATION: BRAZIL

One of my last memories from my South American adventures was something quite spectacular. The view of three different countries together. Even though there are over 150 tri- borders around the world this is one is quite special as it is naturally formed by the crossing of two rivers. Even as one river is clear and the other is brown, the Iguazú and Paraná rivers come together at a point as one. Each country has it’s own tri- point area with an obelisk that is painted in the colors of their perspective country. This has become an important point of commerce and an excellent area for tourism.

It was another first during this trip for me and a magnificent view to see. Standing there and being able to view Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay all together really showed how amazing nature is. It was a sight that made me be thankful for my life and for the opportunities that I have had, specially when it comes to travel. It is one of, if not my biggest passion in life and the Triple Frontier really made me understand why. Beautiful and incredible places are everywhere we look even if it’s just in our backyard and I for one am grateful everyday to be surrounded by it.
